The Murfreesboro Art League is a nonprofit organization for visual artists in Middle Tennessee. Our mission is to encourage and teach local artists, as well as develop and maintain a vibrant artistic environment in the Rutherford/Murfreesboro community. The Art League (MAL) offers classes in many mediums for artists of all levels and has a gallery which exhibits the artwork of current members. Founded by a local group of artists and chartered in 1966, the MAL Gallery and classroom is located in the back of the historic pioneer Cannonsburgh Village close to downtown Murfreesboro.

HOURS
The gallery is open on Saturdays 10 am - 4 pm and Sundays 1 - 4 pm beginning the first weekend of April 2025.
Occasionally, since we are located in Cannonsburgh Village, special rental events such as weddings and reunions are held which close the Village to the public.
